It has always been a goal of mine to attend a university, to receive a degree in Social Work. After completing my junior college level education I enrolled into Prairie View A&M University. One class in particular is my Digital Communication class, which is a unique class that will surely prepare you for the technology world that lies ahead. I have learn so much from excel, to access and mail merge. Getting the knowledge of these programs will not only help me in class but also in the real world.
If you plan to attend this university then you should look them up at http://www.pvamu.edu/cs/ and see if this is the program for you. Also if you plan to become a computer major this would be the perfect class for you. So by the time I graduate from this university I will not only have the knowledge of a social worker but I will also know how to operate certain software and programs that will be utilized in my personal life.

Totally Free
I had to ask my self a simple but complex question at times. How do I see freedom and how can one obtain it? Since I’m a bit of a visual thinker, i began to sit back and pay close attention to the visual I was given. This led me to Isaiah 61:1-11 which explains how the Ambassadors of the Kingdom should be taking the good news (Word of God) to the poor. Let’s stop right here, we must take the good news to the poor, not our opinions, nor false doctrines. Then we should go and comfort the brokenhearted. How many of us have come across a person with a broken heart and we thought we were helping them feel better by giving them our opinions? I can honestly say I have, because at the time I didn’t know the Word of God so I did what I thought was best. Here’s the part that had me stuck for a moment, we must proclaim freedom from the captives. This really made me think, because most of the time we as humans always to try to fix something which is not a bad thing, but the big question is are we fixed in that area as well. Two people that are held captive by the same thing can’t help the next person become free unless they free themselves first. In verse 1 it started off the Spirit of the Lord is on me, meaning this person was free because 2 Corinthians 3:17 clearly says “Now the Lord is Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is FREEDOM”. Remember freedom doesn’t come from our opinions and false teachings but from the Lord. So if you haven’t accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, today can be the day. Just say out loud, I believe that Jesus is Lord and I believe in my heart God raised Jesus from the dead. For in my heart I believe and are justified, and with my mouth I profess my faith and I am saved. (Romans 10:9-10). This is your beginning of walking in freedom. Choose to walk in total freedom now and never look back at the chains that tried to keep you away from your freedom. I speak an abundance of peace, and joy over you today in Jesus’ Name (So Be It). http://strengthofanovercomer.blogspot.com/2016/10/totally-free.html

Walk Into It
Sitting here spending some quality time listening to God speak, because He’s always speaking we just have to get to that place where we are able to hear Him without being distracted. These are moments I embrace because I never leave from His presence the way I entered in. Anyways, so many words illuminated to me that I really needed to see. They brought a sense of clarity. One of the words was trust. Many may have experienced a level of lack of trust in your life towards a person or people. But we must remember we can’t put God in the same box that we have put people in. Many people in the Bible had to flat out trust God. For example Abram and his wife Sarai had to trust and believe in the words God had spoken to Abram about him becoming a father. Even when things don’t make sense we still must trust in the words and promises God left here for us. The next word that caught my attention was faith. This one here stood out like a sore thumb to me, because faith is the currency into heaven and without faith it is impossible to please God. Also all throughout the Bible it was mentioned that their faith had healed them. Things that we need to become healed and delivered from are going to take our participation. I’ve heard the saying ” Jesus Fix It” but as I recall in the Bible when Christ died on the cross he said “It is finished”. So with that being said He has done everything that He needed to do while He physically walked the earth. We have been given authority to speak to things and cause them to obey and line up with the God breathed words. But that’s another message there. Back to this faith moment. When I looked at the scripture on faith this just blew my mind. Corinthians 5:7 says For we walk by faith and not by sight. The word walk just stood out to me. When I think about walking, I think of a movement that requires my participation. This is something that I have to do on my own whether I receive assistance or not I still have to participate. Same thing with our faith we have to utilize our faith ourselves in order for it to become stronger and access things we have never seen before. To make a long story short, walking in faith will cause us to enjoy so many things in life. It’s by faith that the brokenhearted are healed, it’s by faith we forgive those who have wronged us, it’s by faith that we receive our salvation and access into heaven, it’s by faith the things we never thought we would be delivered from we now walk in freedom in. Remember it’s impossible to please God without faith. Try exercising your faith and watch what things unfold in your life like never before. Start believing for newness in every area of your life.
